Some Comments from Dissatisfied Wisconsin StoresOnline Customers

  1. Madison: We attended a "free" seminar and then a fully day seminar. We purchased six websites. We currently have one active. The site is actively losing money each month with $0 in sales. The only traffic I ever received was pay-per-click, which is too expensive to continue with little to no sales. The sales pitch we were given was that the sites were much easier to setup and use than they actually were. It tooks months to get the site up and running. [more]
  2. Milwaukee: I am not satisfied. I bought six stores two years ago. I do not know that I blame them but I think there is a lot of fraud on line. I was able to get two stores programmed and running but I could not drive visitors. I have worked two years. The first year, I paid over $6, 000. I had to borrow from my 401K to pay it back which cost me thousands in penalties. I still believed somehow I could earn money on line but I never made more then one sale. [more]
  3. Milwaukee: 1) When we signed up fo Stores Online, we were told by Doug that he would be our contact. We signed up for not 3, but 6 sites due to the high-pressured sales pitch. We called Doug's telephone number a week later and the woman who answered said there was NO WAY we could ever talk to him personally. 2) Shortly after signing up, we received multiple phone calls from the Tax Cub and then, Tax Advantage, pressuring us to sign up for their tax services and for incorporating in Nevada. 4. Madison: So many things we were told turned out to not be true, or were very misleading. We were told that we don't need to be computer literate, or need high speed connections, but when it came down to the weekly session with the mentor, I lost time due to not having high speed service and also because I am not extremely fast on the internet, etc. The sessions only last 30 minutes and when the time is up, they say goodbye even if you don't understand or aren't finished. 5. Green Bay: My husband and I attended a seminar in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I was really into computers and thought this would be a great idea since I owned a gift shop and had access to merchandise to sell. I also sold on E-bay. We bought 6 web sites and then spent an extra $8000.00 for coaching. I really believed this would be something I could pass on to my kids. Instead I got scammed real bad.Now I don't have the web sites money coming in or the money we spent! [more]
  6. Green Bay: I THOUGHT it was a good deal, worked very hard to get one website up and running - had many contradicting sessions with the 'chat' group - didn't get the UPS charges done right till end of November..........DID get 6 very nice orders, but by the time I paid the shipping (for Christmas promotion), I ended up with a $75.99 revenue for the 6 months! 7. Appleton: Oh Yes, forgot to mention that my personal go-between Sebastian would always be on call for me...got his cell phone #.................NEVER an answer to any left message...couldn't reach him when I called the company..........Did try to call him to cancel out 2 days after my purchase of 3 websites.......but of course, could not reach him...and by the time I was able to call SOL to cancel, the 3 days were up. Also, joined The Tax Club....... [more]
  8. Appleton: We bought 6 sites with the understanding that we would get help any time and that if we could not come up with a product on our own, they would help us to get started. It was frustrating to say the least. Any help we got was online and brief. We were eventually called by a company PMI. This company said they worked with StoresOnline and could help us to get our first and seconds sites up within a couple of months. [more]
  9. Appleton: Like a lot of other people, my husband and I thought this sounded like a really good idea. We bought six websites and tried to get them going with out much luck. We to were approached by PMI and paid much more to get not much further than what we were without them. We now only have one website still going, but still not making anything. We only had two up and running with one that never even got a hit. I am very dissatisfied with SOL and what they said we could do. [more]
