Some Comments from Dissatisfied Washington StoresOnline Customers
- Seattle: I wanted to build a site, but there the site has to produce a single sale , this was 4 months ago. no dollar income and lots of cost. I would like all my money back, it is not as represanted. One sits in a seminar and imaginans all these wounderful things, but they never come true. Nice people, but it never comes true. If youn have a good probuct, you might make a dollar, don't bank on it... [more]
- Seattle: In the previous 90 minute seminar we were told about money resource network and paid $20 to try it. The idea being we could get cash back from our purchases. We made several purchases but the cash back never showed up. I was reading the terms in greater detail and saw that to cancel it must be in writing 7 days before hand. Fortunately there was more than 7 days available. Though I expect they will be trying to take that money anyway. [more]
- olympia: My main problem is that trying to develop and maintain this site (I have 3 but only one has been developed) has caused me a great deal of emotional stress. I have had my physician write notes to that effect. she has, in fact, advised me to just let the site be and to get counseling. however, it's difficult for me to think about all that money wasted so i am still working on it. - Vancouver: We spoke with Stores Online Reps at a seminar with the expressed purpose of creating a virtual wedding coordinator website. The sales rep told us that we could do anything with the websites and if the function wasn't already there, we could just ask the to have the function added. We agreed to the websites with this in mind. However, after we went through the materials and then contacted the support group, we were told we couldn't do anything at all like we had described in detail to the sales reps. [more]
- Yakima: Where to start?????? COMPLETELY Oversold! TOTALLY forgotten about THE MINUTE I walked out the door. Have not gotten the follow up help they promise. Have not been able to do ANYTHING unless I spend EVEN MORE money! I just get the run around from their "help" desk. [more]
- Tukwila: After a long day of person after person sharing their "realistic" success stories, I bought 6 sites. In addition, part of the "success plan" were several add ons. I bought everything. The "university", the (totally useless and impossible to reach) "tax consultants", the "coaches"... even the Nevada Corp. I wanted all the tools to insure success. I was not looking for an easy, big money answer. I am well educated (holding a Masters degree), mature (over 50) and thought I had done my due diligence. [more]
- Richland: I bought 5 websites from StoresOnline. I am an experienced webstore operator and just wanted to expand my sales by offering more single product directed web sites.
StoresOnline built the web sites for me and I spent quite a bit of marketing the websites. The results income $200 money spent generating the income $7, 000.00
The Problem;
The web sites they designed for me took over a minute to load. Anything over 5 seconds and your shopper is gone. [more] - Tacoma: We signed up for 6 websites in Sept, 2005. After almost a year, we finally got 1 website on line. There have been no responses or sales from this website. The other 5 websites have not been activated. We were very disgusted that we have had only expenses, and requests to participate in resources that cost more money. We requested a refund and the answer was, "We don't buy back the websites. [more]
- Spokane: I have purchased 3 websites from TrainingSolution it is from StoresOnline but with trainings. Have spend 25000 for the package plus 1000 for credit cards engine. Then I have used a service of InternetAdvencment.com for another $1200 + 1000. But still nothing helped to get it to work not one sale have been made. A lot of time spent for nothing. At least I got a refund of $600.00 from internetadvancement.com I know it is way less then spent but still happy to get anything back. Same thing with StoresOnline. [more]
- kennewick, Yakima: I was told that I was to have- included with my package-that is the only reason that I joined- that I would be able to have a tech design my site with the info that I would give them. I havent been able to design my site, I have even stopped payment to storesonline, due to the fact that they have taught me how to advertise, yet not publish correctly. [more]
- Everett: My husband and I attended the StoresOnline seminars in Feburary of this year, 2007. As in most sales seminars we were convinced of how much money that we could make and they could show us the exact steps in doing it, because they knew how (to make money). We were advised if we followed their steps and advice that we could be as successful. We bought it, hook, line, and sinker. We bought 6 website and spent $6, 800 on a credit card. We dove in found a drop shipper and started building our first website. [more]
- Coeur d'Alene/Spokane: Wow, I filled it all out and it went away............not doing it again! [more]
- Yakima: When I send emails to the person assigned to help me I never recieve an answer. I can't make the site work properly. I try to set up links but they will not connect. I try to order from my site and the order will not go through. I am frustrated and have quit even trying. [more]
- Tacoma: I bought 6 licenses based on the facts presented at the seminar. i quickly learned that those facts were completely false and missleading. They said that the conversion rate on the internet is 2%. They said it was the average so we should expect that average also. the truth was there is a 2% conversion rate on less then 1% of the stores on the internet. 99% of the websites don't even make a sale. They also talked about the vast options you have for drop shipping. [more]
- Seattle: I purchased the whole package; 6 stores, the corporate package, the tax advantage package and the mentoring package. I was dead serious and I was an excellent student. I did the work and I've published two stores. One came down fairly quickly and the other is still, after a year, struggling miserably.
I have spend three times the original cost of my Stores On Line investment on additional help and advertising.
My experience has been that all internet, get rich adds are frauds. [more] - Everett: Bought six licenses, got three of them up and running. Getting gone up and running is hard enough without getting stuck with six to manage.
This is way harder than they led me to believe.
The most hits I ever got after doing everything possible to attract visitors was 800 hits in one month. That's about 26 per day. Sold a few items but never enough to cover all the costs. [more] - Seattle: It sounded great and they talked about past customers who had attended the next available seminar and had told the new prospects how well they were doing. I knew I would need that next seminar to re-learn important stuff. I didn't realize Stores on Line didn't want me at the next seminar six months later, which they even sent me an invitation to. They turned me down when I called to register. They would only offer "boot camp" for a fee, not the free one. [more]
- Yakima: They made it sound so simple to build the site and be #1. We were told things in the seminar that were not true in the real world. I now see why they would not let us record the seminars as we could have held them to liable. I even did the follow-up toutering expense and have yet to make a sale. My site has been operational since February 2007. It seems that every time I get the site up to standards something is changed in the rule books. [more]
- Seattle: My wife and I went to one of their seminars and listened to all the speakers and people that said that they have done well with StoresOnline. After hearing all of this and resently leaving a 21 year job this all sounded pretty good. I good be my oun boss! We bought 6 Stores or Websites at a tune of $6500.00. We recieved in the mail a book showing our 6 store numbers and I think two web links to look for products to sell and possible drop shippers. [more]
- Yakima: My name is Christine and I am sure my story isn't too different from many others. I was pulled in to the hype. I wanted to be able to make a little extra income and I didn't expect it to happen without some work on my part. I should have got up and walked out when one of the first things they said was please do not ask any question. They didn't want you to ask any questions because they knew that a certain amount of them would be forgotten by the break and they would already have you pulled in. [more]
- Federal Way: My experience with Stores OnLine was not good! I found that their support was lacking in almost category. For the most part their support was to refer you to some other organization that required more money to get the assistance you required. I don’t believe that they fulfilled their end of the contract.
They did not get me to the top of the major Search Engines They did not get the 400 links for trade as promised
I could go on and on with this. Over all SUCKED! [more] - Olympia: Here is a letter I sent to Storesonline on 11/17/07. I attended a seminar in Olympia WA with a friend and she shared this website with me. These people are criminal and must be exposed! Thank you for this forum and I hope that justice is served!
