Some Comments from Dissatisfied Texas StoresOnline Customers

  1. Dallas: When I attended the seminar I was not told that I would be dealing with iMergent for the real time card processing. When I saw the $800 set up fee, I nearly died. I denied it, making the man angry, and went about finding another processor, which I found for $100 set up! Then I was informed that I HAD to use Authorize.net for the authorization of all sales, so there went another $100 plus $35 per month. [more]
  2. dallas: It was not what they said it would be. I paid for a merchant account along with my web sites and when I went to setup the merchant account I was turned down and they will not give me the money back that I paid for the merchant account. They led me to beleive that when I paid for the merchant account that I would be able to use it for my stores. No one said anything about having to be apporved for the account after I have paid for it. [more]
  3. Fort Worth: We, too were sucked in by the heavy hitting, aggresive sales tactics of Stores Online. Being told that anything will sell on the internet, and how simple it was seemed a no brainer at the time (Aug, 2006). We thought we had struck a goldmine! We also made the HUGE mistake of signing up with PMI for additional coaching - they would not take no for an answer - they would be our saviors!! [more]
  4. Houston: Was promise to have 6 monthes of training and have my site set up for me and to this day it hasnt happen so i could make money and havent made one cent. Every time i call or email i get nothing but the run around. I want my money back plus all my money i have spent to plus some. This company needs to be sued and pay up. [more]
  5. Dallas: I attended a Stores Online seminar and was impressed with the presentation. I decided to give it a try because they made it seem like, if you put in the effort their system would all but assure you of success. I purchased six sites only because I was told I needed that many to assure adequate exposure. After the initial $5399.00 investment I have spent $3500.00 with PMI, a Stores Online approved training and marketing firm, and approximately another $2500. [more]
  6. Dallas: I felt forced to purchase all 6 websites, when one website would have been more than enough. After purchasing the websites, we had no idea how to design the pages. We paid another company (PMI)over $5000 to show us how to set up the website. My wifes website never had one sale and after 3 months and expenses of $100 per month, we shut the site down. [more]
  7. Dallas: We went to our first Stores online Seminar on Feb. 8, 2007 and purchased 6 websites ($6398.00). We have managed to get one launched however have had NO sales what so ever. And at the Seminar we were led to believe that Stores online would be there every step of the way to help us and to ensure that we would be successful, teaching us as we go. [more]
  8. San Antonio: SOL makes you think you are going to have a wonderful website and that people will access your website and you will make sales. They parade one successful SOL success story after another at meetings, take your money and then play games for months to "help" you to have a website. I had to pay a website expert in San Antonio to get my website up and running and that was after five months of run around. I paid $2700 to SOL for three websites. [more]

  11. McAllen: Tt is not nearly as easy to build a website as Stores on Line staff would have you believe when they were promoting the packages. While building my site, I found that different consultants from the help line would tell me to do different things for the same thing - such as the keywords and descriptions. It was also very hard to get thru on the help line much of the time. I would very much like a refund and if you can give me some help in requesting and facilitating that, I would really appreciate it. [more]
  12. dallas: I bought 6 websites out of which I started only one website more than a year ago I did not sell any thing yet.

Storesonline Helped me to built the website then they walked through every steps and certified the website. I have done every thing I was asked by them. I am still paying monthly hosting fees I don't know what else I can do so fare I spent more than $10, 000.00. I can’t spent any more at all I am completely broke.

I believe Storesonline is a scam. [more]
  13. Beaumont: We have been with stores for just about a year now and we have not sold a thing. We are trying to get our money back or just cut our losses and walk away. Any one who can help us out would be much appreciated. [more]
  14. Austin: I feel we were pressured in to purchasing all 6 web sites. We both said 3 or less would be more than enough . [more]
  15. Austin: My wife and I attended one of the Storesonline seminars in February 2007 here in Austin TX. We were surprised by the high pressure sales pitch that they gave us, they were repeating all the time that this was a unique business oportunity, for people that do not have a business or even for those who already got one, and want to promote it.
