Some Comments from Dissatisfied South Carolina StoresOnline Customers
- Myrtle Beach: I bought into the program thinking what they presented was the truth. They even brought in local people who stated that it workes . I bought the six website deal. What i have found out is that they do not give you all the information up front on what you need to do to make it successful. I have had many phone call from their vendors trying to sell me other programs that i need to make this successful. I am totaly dis - satified with the way the program was presented. [more]
- Columbia: I bought 6 websites in January 2004. To date, I have only one active website. The other five sites are sitting in limbo. They told us at the seminar that it would be easy to run 6 fully functional online businesses and we believed them. I have had one website up for 3.5 years and it's doing okay, but not good and not great. I have paid out far more money than I have brought in. [more]
- Greenville: I purchased 6 websites from Stores Online. I do have one up and running with no sales other than those individuals I have personally directed to my website. I called Stores Online and asked if there was anyway to sell my websites back to them as I had paid quite a bit of money and will never build 5 more websites. Maintaining one and trying to market one is hard enough. I'm very frustrated about spending so much on this business when it appeared to be so easy to build a website utilizing their tools. [more]
- ORANGEBURG: FEEL THAT I AM THE OLDER RETIRED PERSON THAT WAS TAKEN ADVANTABE OF BY STORESONLINE. WAS TOLD HOW EASY EVERYTHING WOULD BE. SPENT A LOT OF MONEY WITH STORESONLINE AND THEN WAS CONNED BY THERI OTHER COMPANY EMSTRAFFIC TO SPEND ANOTHER $6, 000.00+ AND THEY WERE GOING TO GET TWO OF MY SITES GOING AND MAKING MONEY WHICH THEY DID NO BETTER THAN STORESONLINE. SO MANY ADDED EXPENSES THAT I JUST HAD TO GIVE UP. LIVING ON A FIXED INCOME AND THEY TOOK A LOT OF MY RETIREMENT MONEY. [more]
- greenville sc: The company Stores Online willfully lied, collected my money but never did anything to help us get the business started.Instead they keep calling wanting to offer more services which was quite expensive. They told us it was a point and click program to get the web site started. The also charged us to set up credit card machine transaction, failing to tell us we had to also pay a monthly fee, such bad business practices they keep on taking advantage on helpless individual like myself and wife . - Myrtle Beach: Nov 2nd 2007 recieved a phone call from a lady named Mata from Storeonline office , she stated that they would continue to offer support but was not willing to give a refund.
I informed her that i thought what was represented in the meet was no way close to the reality of the program.
I have submitted a request to Storeonline in oct 2007 for a full refund and copied the NC Attorney General offfice as well as the SC Attorney General OFfice. [more]
