Refund
From StoresOnlineExposed
Even if it's been more than 3 days since a contract has been signed, you may be entitled to a refund. Three days is the minimum time that you're allowed to get your money back without penalty. Other jurisdictions may allow 7 or 10 days. Furthermore, since your use of the software doesn't cost them any real money, you may be able to get a partial refund.
First and foremost, do everything in writing, keep records of all your correspondence, and keep law enforcement officials in the loop. It may take a while to get your money back, and it may not be possible, but by putting it in writing you'll also be helping others avoid falling into this same situation.
The basic path for getting a refund is as follows:
[edit] Ask StoresOnline
Write to StoresOnline a letter stating when you attended the seminar, how much you paid, what the problem is, and you'd like your money back. If you don't ask, you'll be given an opportunity for more instruction, or maybe told that you didn't work hard enough, or something else, but unless you specifically ask for your money back, the company will not feel an obligation to respond.
Primary Address

If you've done this and are not satisfied with the results, send a letter to the Better Business Bureau:
Better Business Bureau 5673 South Redwood Road #22 Salt Lake City, UT 84123 (801) 892-6009
It is BBB policy to encourage consumers to attempt to resolve complaints with a company prior to contacting the Better Business Bureau.
[edit] Ask your Attorney General
This is critical. Your Attorney General's office represents you and the citizens of your state. Part of their job is to protect citizens from companies that mislead people. If the Attorneys General office receives enough complaints against a specific business, they may file suit on behalf of those people. For example, people who complained in Ventura County, California, forced StoresOnline to refund $550,000 to customers. Which customers? Only the customers that filed a complaint!
As you receive letters or phone calls from StoresOnline, always respond in writing, and cc the Attorneys Generals office. If you don't, they may assume that your complaint has been resolved. (And if it has, inform them of that, too!) If you know of other people who are unsatisfied with their StoresOnline experience, have them do the same thing. It's simple: the more people who complain, and the louder they complain, the more likely it is for law enforcement officials to step up and try to get people their money back.
