- youngstown: At the seminar you are lead to believe that building a website is so easy, even a person who can't speak english very well built her own website and is successful. This is not so, I have a lot of experience in electronics and spent two months 8 to 10 hours a day just to build the site. I followed all of the instructions, my site has been up for seven months with just one item sold. [more]

- Columbus: The seminar/presentation was very influential. The speakers were able to illustrate almost anything. It is more what they didn't say that is the cause of my dissatisfaction. For example, everything I was told caused me to believe that I could have as many products (including images of these products) on my site. [more]
- Cincinnatti: We operate a non-profit organization. Our only reason for wanting a web site, was to generate interest and donations for our "Bibles for Africa" project. We told them we were not in the business to make money, we just wanted a web site that would show what was happening in Africa. Someway, (I still don't understand how, because we are not usually gullible people) they convinced us that this was exactly what we needed. Well it is not what we want. - Columbus: My husband and I attended a seminar in Columbus. We had taken a loan out against our car because we were told to come prepared. The information at the seminar was very mis-leading as to how difficult it was to design the website and we were given the impression you could begin making money with pay per click campaigns within three days for number one rankings. I finally got wise to the scam after a prolonged fight about what should be a minor html change on the web site. Since I am attending busines college and learning about different software programs, I started to learn html and investigate different hosting programs.
My reasons for using storesonline and not ditching earlier are twofold: The first, I thought I would not be able to obtain a merchant account. The second, I didn't want to feel I blew all that money on nothing. [more] - Cleveland: Not satisfied because of the tools and additional costs to promote website to get any sales.
