1. Flushing: After being completely brainwashed by their hype, I decided to purchase three websites. After fiddling with it for a few months, and never actually publishing any websites, my husband, who is the tech-savvy one, found far better alternatives out there that range from being totally free to being very inexpensive. 2. wadeing river: I need to get together about 1years worth of bills and paper work . 3. Albany: They are a bunch of Idets they sold me six sites and said you yeah you will get your money back with in a year if not sooner, YEAH RIGHT i am in the middle of Emailing my General atterny, Wish me LUCK I WOULD NOT RECOOMEND THIS TO ANY ONE unless you want to go 10k in the hole!! [more]
4. Poughkeepsie: Although their customer help line is one of the best in the business, our expierence with the rest of their program was extremely difficult. They have a complete failure with any kind of updating mistakes in their software such as requests to add clip art (commmon to most web builder software), stores has none. No requests for changes to program for inventory controls were ever answered. We sell various sizes of a product and software alows cost of only one size to be entered. [more]
5. Albany: I attended the seminar on using E-bay which was just a way for Stores on line to get your attention...that they did. Stores on line made it sound easy, they said you could sell anything if you did it the wau they said to do it...well that's all fine and dandy, except everytime you turn around it costs you more money, it's like throughing money at a problem hoping it will get better and it doesn't. 6. Queens: I am not satisfied with Stores on line. I was left with in incomplete website and told to finish it independently. When I asked about adding features compatible with the MLS Real Estate Board, I was told it could not be done. The links were very simple and being added to most agents websites. I do not find it user friendly and consequently not actively using it to benefit my business. I definitely would like a refund considering I bought 3 websites and currently only using 1. [more]
7. Plattsburgh than Albany: I was invited to a seminar and sails pitch foe stors on line. My daughter and I attended. We were shown and told that they knew the secret to getting at the top of the serch engins and if we bought from them a on line store package that we would be told exactly how to get our stor at the top of the serch engins. So we bought there package of 6 stors for $6, 398.00 expecting to work hard but to be sugsessfull. We were given an antiquated format with few choises to modernize to work with. [more]
8. Buffalo: They made it sound so much easier than it is. It is more time consuming and complicated then I thought. It took me a year to make one website let alone six. Then my drop shipper discontinued my product after I signed up to have my site marketed. Another $1200 down the drain. As a side note I put another product on my website which was also discontinued along with half the third product I put on. I think that storesonline pushes too many websites. You actually only need to start with one. [more]
9. Buffalo: Creating a website has been FAR MORE DIFFICULT than we were ever told - "the more limited your computer skills, the easier you'd be to train" - NOT SO. It has been almost a year of time, frustration, and money (many hidden costs that were not revealed).While my site is "live" I have earned no money and am now in the marketing phase - equally difficult to learn and equally frustrating. 10. queens : I spent a lot of money with stores online and it's sub companies. each time after I did so I felt robbed. My money is hard to come by.What ever the turn out I would like very much to kepp my website up and running. [more]
