Some Comments from Dissatisfied Missouri StoresOnline Customers

  1. St. Louis: I have published two sites and have yet to realize one sale. Greatcookwaresets has been up since about March 2007 and Gocordlessdrill has been up for about 3 months. I beleve that StoresonLine has been misleading when promoting the profits available just be getting a site on line. I have been contacted by several other sources telling me that without their assistance my sites will probably not be picked up by any Search Engines. I had even invested in additional help in building my sites. [more]
  2. Jefferson City: We are tempted to take the tickets that come in the mail every year and pass out cards that say Scam..is your $2.00 meal tasting like $6000? We are totally not satisfied. I am computer literate and we struggled for hours with our passwords not working. Used online & phone customer service assistant and hours & online & on hold waiting. Get the passwords to work then they don't work again. Your phone number is passed out to many other sharks that smell blood in the water and you are it! [more]
  3. Jefferson City: I was not aware of all the extra fees and the lack of marketing support (without paying even more money, and how hard it would be to make even a small profit. [more]
  4. Kansas City: I worked and worked on just one of the sites. I spent money for PMI so I could have some one on one help. I spent money on several different means to try to help. I finally got the one site up and running and then spent more money to try to get on one of the first 3 pages. After spending 4-5 times the money that I orginally paid (which was a lot) I still don't have anything. I have asked for even a partial refund. I have asked them to help me sell it to someone else. 6. Kansas City: Very costly effort. Bought 3 sites, used PMI for help one on one. Spent more and more money to get one site up and running. Then spent $1000's to try and get it on a page where it would be seen. Asked them for a refund once. Was refused. Asked them for help in trying to sell the sites. Was refused their help. [more]
  7. St. Louis: We were duped into purchasing 3 websites at the seminar. We found a company that would drop-ship, and they even helped us with a CD of all their products to make it easier to download onto the site. Getting it all set up wasn't so bad, but then we got duped into purchasing an extra marketing program, which turned out to be nothing but a hoax. All they provided was an on-line seminar that was a repeat of the seminar we attended in the beginning! [more]
  8. St. Louis: The seminars that we went to made everything sound so easy. Yes, we were duped! We purchased 6 websites and have had one of them running for about a year now, with very little success. We spent quite a bit of time working on this site to get it going and, as we both have full-time jobs, we were kept quite busy. We even paid extra to have a "mentor" call once a week for several months. We did pretty much everything he said, but the sales still haven't been exactly rolling in. [more]
  9. springfield: They never delived and helped like they said I want my money back [more]
  10. Kansas City: I built our website and in that process SOL's help was pretty good. But getting the traffic and sales is another issue.. I sometimes wonder if they didn't have a few people who would go to our website and visit just to make it look good.. But they never bought... I would like to have a successful email business but wonder now if that is a possibility or just wishful thinking... I've done the things they've told me to do.. I have one active website and am starting to develop another. [more]
  11. Cape Girardeau: We bought 3 store fronts. We were told 'how easy" it was to set them up. We were told that there were so many wholesalers out there that it would not take long to find one. It took well over a month to get one that would work with us. Most would not even answer us when we used the terminology we were told to use. [more]
  12. St. Louis: Hello, we have been a member of Stores on line for a year now and we are not satisfied with the results. After 2 seminars that were free we were preassured into buying 3 or 6 websites for a one time deal that would never be offered again. We have one live website since Jan of 2007 and have yet to earn any income off it. We are getting ready to launch a second and planning to build the 3rd by next year. [more]
  13. Kansas City: It seems that every time I need help that there are only a very few customer reps. that are willing to help me. Also every time I turn aroubd they want more money for this or that. It's for sure that I'm not making any money from the one website that I do have published...it was published the last of July...maybe I'm just impatient. When I've asked them if they could go ahead and sell the other two sites they just blow me off...that sure wasn't how they protrayed themselves in their seminars. [more]

  15. Cape Girardeau: We were pressured into buying six websites. At first we thought it was a good ideal until we had our first programmed and my business partner had to redo everything she had done when we published it because the programmer submitted the site wrong and changed everything my business partner did. She had to redo the who site and we asked for our money back since she had to reprogramm it and they told us no. [more]
