Some Comments from Dissatisfied Michigan StoresOnline Customers
- Jackson: FINALLY GOT 1 WEBSITE PUBLISHED-HAVE SOLD NOTHING. NOW I AM UNABLE TO ACCESS MERCHANT SERVICES TO TRY TO ENHANCE THE WEBSITE. HAVE TRIED TO CONTACT STORES ON LINE WITHOUT SUCCESS I WILL KEEP TRYING TO GET ACCESS TO MERCHANT SERVICES BY CALLING AND CALLING. [more]
- Traverse City: I was encouraged to buy many more websites than I would ever reasonable need. I took money from my IRA because the promise was for such great things. I did not know that other websites could be bought for far less. I did not know that I would need to pay much extra money for processing services when they said it came with a shopping cart. So I ended up losing about $8000+ over the 8 years I owned the 4 websites. [more]
- Flint: Inever got the same advise from the on line chat reps. They always contradicted one another. Even though the on line tools were informative, it was very difficult to execute and optimize thesite. It tooks me 9 mo's to get the itrunning. It was very generic and Stores On Line offered more assistance, but at an additional cost. I hired web developer, she had challenges w/customer service; they couldn't handle her technical questions.Ibought their heavily promoted 6-pack for $6, 000. [more]
- flint: we were lead to belive there was a market out there. that wasnt there.

just a big rip off. [more] - Grand Rapids: We don't think Stores on Line tell the people ALL that is involved building a web site store such as all of the starting fees as well as an on going monthly fees like for the credit card companies, merchant services & tax club, hosting fees and many others fees they don't explain when in these meetings pryer to buying into stores on line that it takes a lot of momey to get the store ready to go on line before even getting started.
