Some Comments from Dissatisfied Massachusetts StoresOnline Customers
- Boston or Surrounding City: I was deceived into a contract under the false pretenses that with as little as 5 hrs a week, I could have a fully function able and profitable site up and running with in 2 weeks. After months of this not take place and they just dropped the ball on me, they suggested that above and beyond the $6000 or so that I spent with them (2003), I should spend thousands more with PMI coaching company in order to get the hands on help I needed. - Newton: Myself and my sister-in-law went halves on purchasing a "package" deal "being the best deal, approximately three years ago, for a lot of money. We have only been able to get and and run two sites, one of which was finally shut down. We thought we had good ideas, followed the instructions and never made a dime. Storesonline made plenty, nickel and dime-ing us for everything. [more]
- Danvers or Peabody: Stores Online Service people are quick to send a 'follow up survey' when they have been particularly helpful
(which they are sometimes). However NO SURVEYS WERE SENT this past week when 4 separate times I needed more intricate assistance in setting things up. The service was horrible, with information incorrect, unknown, and incomplete. Inviting selective feedback strikes me as unethical, an attempt to look good, rather than using
feedback to honestly improve what could be a good product. [more] - Leominster: Girlfriend and I went to Stores Online Seminar looking for a way to make money from home. We wanted something to help us with retirement. At the seminar we were told how easy it was to make money on the internet. The software was easy to use and you can sell any product online. During the seminar they get you to believe you need six websites to make constant income because of trends in consumer spending that you should market products so when one is down in sales another might be up keeping an income.
