Some Comments from Dissatisfied Georgia StoresOnline Customers
- Augusta: Not drawing any customers to my website. [more]
- Atlanta: In April of this year 2007 I purchased 6 websites from Storesonline at the 'so called bargain price of $5500.00+ However I learned afterward that it takes more than purchasing the web site to become successful. I am still working on my first website with no help from Storesonline, their helpline in inadrquate, the people who are suppose to be there to help you do not. I am very unhappy with my website and would love to get my money back!. [more]
- Altanta : We purchased 6 websites and as of today only 1 is active. We have had a total of 6 orders purchased from the site. Which is not enough profit to continue. [more]
- Atlanta: I am not satisfied with StoresOnline. I've spent over $10, 000 on my website and have not earn the first penney. I worked for months putting the site together and did everything I was told to do. I even hired one of the website coaching companies recommended by StoresOnline. I've done all that they've asked me to do - even funding a Pay Per Click account. I can't spend much on a Pay Per Click account because I'm out of money and now cannot afford to pay for the major Pay Per Click accounts. [more]
- Athens: Although the Stores Online people have been very helpful and polite, I'm not satisfied with the whole experience for a number of reasons.
1. Stores Online made it sound a lot easier that it really is. 2. They stated that a hour a day is all it takes to set up a profitable website. There is no way an hour a day is going to get much accomplished in a year unless a person is already an accomplished web guru. 3. The Stores Online templates are not capable of doing some things that I would like to do.
4. [more] - Atlanta: My partner and I were in business together with our own company that was not doing too well. At that time we got a solicitation card from SOL to attend a free seminar on web selling. We attended this first seminar which lead to a second seminar for a cost of $20. All of it sounded great up until the end. We were convinced we would make money within 6 months according to them and pay an exuberant fee of $6, 398.00 for six different web portals (sites). None of this happened. [more]

- Savannah: I went to their Seminar on January 31, 2007 and they made it seem so simple, so I purchased the Package deal that day, 6 websites. They said this package could ONLY be purchased, at this low price, that day only. Therefore, a lot of us fell for the sell pitch, and purchased the six websites. They promised us that they would always be there of us and we would get one on one help in making our website successful.
But where was my help?
Yep! That was a joke! [more] - Atlanta: It is much harder and more expensive than they portrayed it to be. You have to get a liscense with your state, it costs a lot to drop ship, and it is NOT easy to get listed high on the search engines. I was just in the process of finding out how to sell this and get rid of my stores! If I want to try this again, it is possible to do it way cheaper than with StoresOnline! [more]
- Atlanta: In January of 2006, me and my wife attended a StoresOnline seminar in Georgia and was led to believe that anyone can build a website and it would bring plenty of traffic and lead to making more money. We purchased 6 websites and only 1 has been published live. We only had two purchases on our site since last year and now it is just sitting idle. [more]
- Atlanta: In January of 2006, My wife and I attended a StoresOnline seminar and was led to believe that when we purchased the websites that we could easily build them and see financial results in 6 months. We purchased 6 websites total price was $6, 000 and also $4, 500 for a so-called coach and mentoring program. The coach told us nothing that would benefit us no more than what we could find out for ourselves for free. [more]
- Atlanta: My husband & I attended a seminar in Atlanta last Jan. We did not buy that day but they called us at home and sold us 3 websites for $12, 540 that included marketing and coaching with the advisory line for 1 year. They said they wanted to make an example of us when we did well. They said they know their system works and if we follow everything they tell us to do it will work for us too. [more]
- Athrens: We received an invite to FREE SEMINAR for internet busines. We went and got nothing out of that but an invite to another seminar for $20 the next day and lunch. We decided to go . When we arrived it was nice but they never really got to the meat of what they were offering. The first thing they wanted to do was check everyones financial status and get that money issue out of the way it seemed so that it would not be an issue or excuse to say no. [more]
- Atlanta: To be honest, no. I don't think they were really about this. They make it look really easy, that anyone can do it. After you sign all the papers and everything you wonder how they did it. Because its not that easy. After a while they will contact you saying that you are one of the luckiest that they have choosen you to take a seminar to learn everything, but it has a cost at least $6, 000 more, if you are aggressive it can go up.... until $ 15, 000. - : My husband and I purchased three websites costing over $4, 000. The customer service representatives are not knowledgable regarding issues relating to the proper functioning of my website. For over three months, I cannot update information on my site. Every time I call SOL, I get a different reason for why I am having problems. [more]
