Some Comments from Dissatisfied Colorado StoresOnline Customers
- Denver, CO: I used the reverse research tool, found a product line that looked good, then when I put many hours into learning how and building a site, it only had a handful of sales. [more]

[more] - Denver: My husband and I feel that we were completely mislead by Stores Online. What they say during the high presure presentations are not what is reality. Once I discovered that not only was it not simple to put together the web site, I never received customer support that they say they will provide. The phone calls are long distance and every time you turn around they want more money. [more]
- Denver: My husband and I were completly mislead into believing the lies that were presented by the highpressure sales techniques from Stores Online. We were told that putting the sites together were easy, and any one could do it. They would be there to help you design the site. I never could get help with the design, how to program the site or how to make updates or changes. I basically was on my own with programming the site. [more]
- Colorado Springs: We went to there semiar and they made it look very easy and said any one could open a store on line and that it was very easy and kid could do it. - Colorado Springs: I purchased the websites because my husband had been injured on the job and we felt that this could be our way to survive. After we purchased the websites (6 sites) we were told that we could get special one on one training (for an additional $5000.00) and our sites could be up and running and making money in no time. - Denver: I was looking for an inexpensive business to start and my research lead me to Internet sales - eCommerce. So when I heard about Stores Online it seemed like the perfect opportunity to get a foot in the door. My husband and I went to the seminar and as many have said, the leaders made eCommerce sound like the cat's meow. They showed us how "easy" it is to build a website and how Links4Trade gives us 400 links and keeps them updated. [more]
- Grand Junction: I purchased 3 web sites in October, 2006. Having worked with updating web site information in a previous job, I knew that it would take some work to make the sites successful. Because of other time obligations, I asked every representative at the seminar how much time would have to be spent in order to get the sites up and running. Every representative assured me that they never spent more than a couple hours per day on their sites and if I was able to devote 5-10 hours per week, I would be successful. [more]
- Denver: I signed up and paid for six websites. I have not been satisfied with the support for Stores Online (lack of support actually) and have sent them emails asking for a refund of my money. I only published two of the six web sites and haven't received a response. I was planning on sending them a letter, but haven't yet done it. My first web site has taken a huge loss, the second web site has never managed to operate properly. I would appreciate any suggestions you have on how I should proceed. [more]
- Denver: I agreed to the additional coaching and marketing. The coaching had some interesting topics, but was not up to date with the latest marketing information. The company they handed off the marketing to has done a very poor job in helping setup key words. Their return communications are very poor and very slow. The keyword listing have many mistakes and spelling errors. They give duplicate words and tricky phrases that the bigger serach engines reject. [more]
- Grand Junction: The process has been very overwhelming. Storesonline indicated that anyone can do this as long as they work hard. I've done that, and the set up of the website was much more difficult than they indicated. And marketing the website without spending a fortune is impossible. All they wanted was your money, and then to sell you more ways to do this business. It's a scam, I'm out $8000 and have nothing to show for it. [more]
- Denver: Hi, I feel I am an intelligent, hard working person, who, like many people who feel the same way, was duped by Storesonline. I fell for the sales pitch, beleiving anything ought to sell online for a handsome profit. I have made a few sales of of 1 site (I bought 6). My site hasn't come close to paying for itself let alone the many hours spent setting it up. The customer service was barely adequate when I'd call or use the online help. Sometimes I could not get my issue resolved at all. [more]
- Fort Collins: I was struggling financially and they convinced me that this was the answer. Now I have more bills than ever and no money coming in. [more]
- FortCollins: Our story is the same as the others we have seen. Statements made as to how easy this is, how no computer skills are needed, how 5hrs a week working will earn you $5, 000 a mo. and how we will be there for you. This is not easy! We have spent hundreds of hours on our first site and have no sales! My wife is on a computer 9hrs. a day at her work and has problems with this. We signed up for advanced training from E.M.S.(a partner of Stores Online)at a much higher cost. [more]
